Every completed and approved order automatically generate an order confirmation. The most common reason for not receiving an order confirmation is if the email adress that was used when making your purchase was incorrect. If you feel unsure, our customer service team is available to help you.
When an order has been created in our system, a confirmation is automatically sent to the email address you provided when placing the order. Please make sure that the email address is correct and check your spam folder as the confirmation might end up there. If you're still experiencing any issues you are welcome to contact our team at americas@marianila.com.
We unfortunately can't change orders once they've been placed. This includes adding or removing products from the order, or changing products.

If your order has not yet been shipped, the order can still be cancelled. Send an email with your order number to americas@marianila.com to find out if your order can be cancelled or not. Our customer service hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm EST.
You can find your tracking number in the confirmation email that is sent when your order leaves our warehouse. If you have deleted the confirmation email, you are welcome to contact us at americas@marianila.
We always recommend checking your shipping address before completing the order. Unfortunately, we are unable to change the shipping address after the order is placed and we are not responsible for orders sent to the incorrect delivery address provided at the checkout process. However, when you receive the tracking information you may check with the shipping courier if they are able to accommodate your request.

We accept payemts made with Visa, Amex, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay, Discover and Diners Club.
Once your order har been placed we are unable to add a discount code. You are welcome to contact us if you want to cancel or return your order and from there place a new order with the dicount code.
If an error occurred when you were placing your order, it might look like your account has been charged twice. We never charge any uncompleted orders, so if it looks like there is an extra withdrawal on your account, it is just a pre-authorization that will disappear automatically within 1-3 days. If you've received two order confirmations your order may have been duplicated. Please contact our team as soon as possible for further assistance.
Shipping
All orders ship Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Order processing usually takes 3-8 business days.
Please note that delivery to rural addresses can result in longer delivery time.
We offer standard shipping with UPS and FedEx. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are shipped with USPS.
All shipments will be delivered to the adress you entered when placing the order.
Maria Nila offers free shipping on orders $85or more within the U.S. Orders that are below $85 will be charged a $10 shipping rate.
For our Canadian customers, we offer free shipping on orders above 110 CAD. Orders below 110 CAD will be charged a 18 CAD shipping rate.
You will receive an e-mail notification when your order leaves our warehouse that includes a tracking link.

If your parcel can't be delivered by the courrier, it will automatically be returned to us as an unredeemed package and you will be refunded.

Return policy
We accept returns for products purchased from marianila.com only, and all returns are inspected upon return. You have 14 days to return any eligible items from the time you received the products.
If you want to make a return, please reach out to us at americas@marianila.com. Include your order number and reason for wanting to make the return.
To receive a full refund, your package must be unopened, unused, and returned to us in new condition in its original packaging.
Please note that the cost of returns is at the customer’s expense. This includes the packing, care, and return label for the order. Therefore, please be careful when packing the products to avoid damage or lost items during transit.
In case of any allergies or hypersensitivity, we always recommend that you try a new product on a small area (for example on the wrist) and wait for 24 hours to see if you get any reaction.If you experience an undesirable effect orif you need further information regarding returns/complaints, please contact our customer service team.

Product information
No, our products are free from sulfates and parabens. Instead, we use plant based ingredients and more gentle alternatives.
Many shampoos contain sulfates to dissolve fats and make them lather. Sulfates removes oils from your hair but can also strip the hair and scalp of their natural oils. Products that contain sulfates can therefore make your hair feel drier and make the scalp produce more sebum. When switching from a shampoo with sulfates it's normal to experience that the hair gets oily quicker. This is due to the scalp adjusting its sebum production to more gentle products.
Parabens are a conservative that is added to water based products to prolong the shelf life withoutthe risk of bacteria or mold starting to develop. Parabens have been linked to allergies, which is why some might want to avoid them in their haircare routine.
Our Cream Heat Spray and Quick Dry Spray both protect your hair when using hot tools that are up to 450 degrees
Color Refresh contains semi-permanent color pigments that stick to the outer cortex of the hair - this means that the color does not penetrate as well as a permanent color. Depending on the starting point of the hair, the color gradually washes out between 4-10 times (sometimes it takes longer if the hair is very porous). Please note that when used on grey or untreated hair the results may vary. Since it's only temporary pigments, they are not as strong as permanent hair color, and therefore it can be hard to cover grey. For some people, it seems to work covering grey hair, but we can't leave any guarantee as this is very individual. Always try on a strand of your hair before applying the color to the whole hair to see the result.
Our Curlicue Cream is developed to define and enhance naturally curly/wavy hair. It does not have the same effect on naturally straight hair.

Yes! All of our series can be combined depending on the desired result.
Our products are very gentle as they are both 100% vegan, sulphate and paraben-free. According to the Swedish branch organization KTF (Cosmetic trade association), it is even safe to dye your hair in the salon - when you are breastfeeding or pregnant. At Maria Nila, we think you should always be extra careful with all types of products when it comes to pregnancy and breastfeeding. As a precautionary measure, we recommend that you reduce its use during a specific period. You can always consult your doctor if you are unsure.
Unopened bottles should be used within 30 months. Opened bottles should be used within 12 months. We do not recommend using products after expiration date.
Our products are very gentle as they are 100% vegan and free from sulfates and parabens. Since there are hair extensions with many different qualities and materials, we recommend you to consult with your hairdresser to be sure what products suit your specific extensions.
Quick Dry Heat Spray and Cream Heat Spray are products purely developed for heat protection and can be used on both wet and dry hair.

Our products are very gentle as they are 100% vegan, sulphate and paraben-free. However, all of our product safety testings has been performed on adults so we cannot give any recommendations for children. Therefore this is an individual choice.
Colour Guard Complex means that the product has some ingredients in it that make it preserve the color in your hair longer. The products with Colour Guard Complex for instance protect the hair against UV radiation and free radicals.
The color bomb masques can sometimes be tricky products since they behave differently in different hair types. How well the color attaches depends on the quality of hair. If your hair is porous, the color will attach better than on "glassy" hair. A color-treated or bleached hair is more open for pigments and therefore most suitable for the color masque. For further consultation, we recommend that you talk with your hairdresser or contact our team.
